'Yr Elfennau'
Snowdonia National Park, Wales
Snowdonia National Park, Wales
Within the Wild Places of this Ancient Isle of Albion, tales abound of a magical past. Snowdonia National Park, in the North of Wales, carries it's fair share of folklore and fantasy. You might wish to believe the myths & legend that the region’s highlands were created by giants and, indeed, that some moorland valleys are still infested with fairies to this day.
By far less a stretch of the imagination, it is easy to believe the word ‘Elf’ is derived from the Welsh for ‘The Elements’. As such they can be seen; casting an undeniable magic in the raptures of light and soddening precipitation which do bring this place a beauty in earthy shades. |
